DEP provides insights into cancer stem cells

By pycraft, Mar 26 2014 07:16PM

Our most recently accepted paper is now available for download from the Integrative Biology website. Written with our colleagues at the Gade Institute in Norway, the work looks at how the degree of stem-ness in cancer cells can be tracked according to the membrane electrical properties, The paper shows how the changes in the mambrane correlate with changes in morphology that might allow cancer cells to metasticise more easily, and how DEP could be a potential fractionation tool in the future. We will make the paper available as soon as we can.
